SPIDER ZT-MAX
CURRENT VERSION
The Spider ZT-MAX is built for maximum forgiveness. Four corner weights and a low torque, toe up design keep the face stable, so off center putts hold their line.
Nothing putts like a Spider, and the ZT-MAX is the most stable of them all.
If you want a putter that fights through mishits and keeps the ball on line, this is it. Every part of the ZT-MAX is built to raise stability and protect your start line.
Four heavy steel and tungsten weights sit in the corners of the head, framing a light aerospace grade aluminum body. Pushing weight to the edges drives MOI to the max, so the face resists twisting on off center hits.
The KBS putter shaft is bored straight toward the toe, near the center of gravity. With 2 degrees of shaft lean and 34mm of onset behind the face, the head sits in a stable toe up position. Less torque gives you a more repeatable stroke.
The black Pure Roll insert blends Surlyn and aluminum for a soft feel. Grooves set at 45 degrees get the ball rolling forward sooner, with a clean sound and a true roll.
A reworked sole sets the putter behind the ball with less fuss. The new curve fits different player types and ball positions, which helps you repeat the same stroke again and again.
Milled True Path lines run the width of a golf ball across the top. They make it easy to line up to center face and commit to your read.
The ZT-MAX comes in three builds. The standard model in 33, 34, or 35 inches. A counterbalanced model in 36 or 38 inches, with a heavier grip for a smoother, pendulum stroke. Right hand is available across the lineup, with left hand in select lengths.
Maximum stability. A soft, true roll. Alignment you can trust. If forgiveness is what your putting needs, the ZT-MAX delivers.
SPIDER STABILITY
To maximize MOI, four heavy steel and tungsten corner weights frame a low‑density, aerospace‑grade aluminum body.
LOW TORQUE DESIGN
The KBS putter shaft is bored directly toe‑ward near the CG with a 2° shaft lean and 34 mm of onset behind the face, enabling a stable, toe‑up design.
PURE ROLL™ INSERT
Made from a combination of Surlyn and aluminum, the black Pure Roll™ insert creates a softer feel. Grooves are angled at 45° to encourage optimal forward roll as well as better sound, feel and overall roll characteristics.
UNIQUE SOLE SHAPING
New and improved sole shaping to work specifically with this unique hosel configuration, engineers worked tirelessly to find new ways to improve accuracy from the moment the putter is placed behind the ball. The new sole curvature accommodates different player types and ball positions, giving golfers the ability to find a consistent and repeatable stroke.
MILLED TRUE PATH™ ALIGNMENT
Based on Tour player feedback, we were tasked to find a new premium alignment system. Building on the classic TaylorMade True Path™ technology, milled lines the width of the golf ball were added helping golfers properly index to center face.
